**Area Sales Manager**

**The Role**: As an Area Sales Manager you will be targeting Independent Builders Merchants (40%), Agricultural Merchants (40%), and Independent Garden & DIY businesses (20%) across Cheshire, Staffordshire, and the West Midlands. The Area SalesManager will be responsible for around 100 spending accounts whilst bringing on new customers in the region. The role is fully autonomous and trust is key as you will be effectively running the area like your own business.

The Area Sales Manager will have support from the directors, marketing, and other ASM's in the UK. You will have autonomy on pricing, promotions, and rebates which put commercial decision making firmly in your hands. The Area Sales Manager will also be eligiblefor an enhanced bonus scheme for growing existing accounts and bringing on new business.

**Requirements**: To be considered for the Area Sales Manager role you must:

- Have a track record selling to Independent Merchants/DIY/Garden Centre sectors
- Be a natural relationship builder
- Have an attention to detail & maintain high presentation standards
- Ideally come from a tools, ironmongery, or fixings background
- Be an effective communicator & negotiator

**The Package** for Area Sales Manager is:

- Basic: £30k-35k DOE
- Bonus paid quarterly: £8,500 per year
