**Salary: £24,000 PA**

**Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday**

Oilfast are the fastest growing and one of the largest fuel distributors in Scotland. In 9 years, we have grown to a level where we have 9 depots across the UK (mostly in Scotland) and a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering diesel, gas oil, home heating oil, lubricants, AdBlue®, gas bottles and fuel tanks out of those depots to a range of agricultural, commercial and domestic customers.

We also have a fast-growing fuel cards division, for drawing out our network of sites across the country, as well as a vehicle tracking business and a telecommunications division.

We are a very ambitious company with a great team full of experience and enthusiasm. We are looking for a like-minded individual for the following role:
**Role Summary**:We have an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is based within our Head Office in Motherwell, reporting to the Finance Manager.

**Key Result Areas**:

- Post supplier invoices and credit notes, matching to purchase orders and ensuring proper authorisation
- Allocating cash to supplier accounts and invoices
- Check and reconcile supplier statements
- Liaise with all depots and suppliers on invoice queries
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
- Providing support to other members of the Finance Team

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills for working with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Strong IT skills including Excel
- An ability to handle multiple tasks under tight timelines
- Demonstrates a keenness for continual improvement

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
