**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software then filing hard copies
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
- Completing HMRC returns
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and flagging any errors
- Recording any inconsistencies to help reconcile inaccuracies
- Developing monthly financial statements
- Managing expense claims
- Assist with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
- Support the preparation and use of master template documentation and ensure corporate identity is maintained throughout the company

**Qualifications**

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Must have 3+ years of experience in management accounts administration
- 3+ years of managing /overseeing: Sales ledger, Purchase ledger & banking functions
- Previous experience using Xero is preferred
- Ability to work independently with mínimal guidance to drive things forward
- Outstanding organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Be a problem solver at heart with a genuine interest in helping team members
- Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognise errors
- Mathematics skills for accurate record-keeping
- Administrative skills for filing financial records
- Computer literacy, especially familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and accounting software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Slack Office 365 and Xero
- Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
- Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with customers, suppliers and other employees in the accounts department
- Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
