The Payments Administrator is the final part of our customer's car purchasing journey, overseeing processing of financial transactions between lenders and dealerships. This role would suit someone who loves getting lost in a spreadsheet, is able to handle multiple priorities at once and is meticulous about accuracy and attention to detail.

Working collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless payment processing, strong communication skills are essential for effectively resolving any payment discrepancies or issues that may arise.

Please note this role is fully on-site at our Old Trafford office and working hours are 9.30am - 6.00pm Monday - Friday.

**WHAT'S INVOLVED?**
- Initiate and oversee the transfer of funds from lenders to dealerships, accurately recording all transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable ledgers and vendor files
- Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues that require resolution
- Review invoices received from dealerships, verifying accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements before processing payments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to accounts payable processes, collaborating closely with internal teams, lenders, and dealerships to resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, implementing internal controls and procedures as necessary to mitigate risks

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Experience in accounts payable or similar finance/administrative roles
- Technical proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel, possess ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
