We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers, employees, and clients, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative requirements.

**About the employer (500 characters including spaces)**

MV Recycling (UK) Ltd are a plastic recycling/brokerage company. We purchase plastic waste from the UK and supply it to our partnering facilities in Turkey and Portugal for recycling and turning into new products. We also have our own UK site for material inspection and bulking material, ready for export.

Responsibilities of the Apprentice
- Data entry, retrieval and database maintenance
- Creating and managing documents, spreadsheets and presentations on various office apps such as word and excel.
- Compiling reports
- Welcoming visitors to the building, organising security clearance and showing them to meetings
- Organising documents into the correct locations.
- Creating and updating company records.
- Scheduling meetings, taking minutes and arranging conferences and events
- Responding to questions and requests for information
- Answer and direct phone calls
- General office assistance

Key skills, experience and/or qualifications required:

- Office administration experience
- Proficient in the use of I.T
- Must be an experienced, dedicated, reliable, proactive, flexible individual who is assertive and take the initiative in anticipating the needs of their teams.
- Should be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Along with being able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Preston, PR4 0TL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
