As part of our dynamic team, you'll be at the forefront of attracting and selecting the best talent to join our healthcare teams. This isn't your typical apprenticeship - you'll dive headfirst into hands-on experience, tailored specifically to the unique recruitment processes of the healthcare sector. Working alongside seasoned professionals, you'll learn the ropes and make real contributions that shape the future of healthcare recruitment.
By the end of this apprenticeship, you won't just gain valuable experience - you'll also walk away with a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration, setting the stage for an exciting career ahead. Whether you aspire to climb the ladder within the healthcare industry or explore new horizons, this apprenticeship will be your springboard to success.

With support from the Recruitment Team, you will carry out the clerical and administrative duties required to support the delivery of a professional and comprehensive recruitment and selection service to all Divisions within the Trust, and you must have excellent IT skills as the role involves using numerous NHS bespoke systems as well at the Microsoft office suite.
You will be supported and mentored on a day to day basis throughout the apprenticeship, and will be offered one day study support to complete qualification.

We offer a varied apprentice programme that will give you the skills and experiences you will need for either a role in recruitment or the wider NHS. Previous apprentices have gone on to become Recruitment Officers, Workforce Advisors and International Recruitment Officers

Process ESR change forms
Supporting the issue of contracts and other documentation relating to contractual changes under the direction of the relevant Recruitment Officer
Supporting the advertising of all Trust posts under the direction of the relevant Recruitment Officer:
Close Vacancies
Liaise with managers for outstanding short-lists
Issue invitations to interview
Represent the Trust and the NHS at recruitment events / Job fairs / careers promotions as required.
Issuing ID badges and smart cards
Undertaking pre-employment checks
**General Administrative Duties, including**:
Photocopying & Scanning
Data Inputting
Archiving of Recruitment Records
Liaise and effectively communicate with other members of the team and the Directorate
Support the wider Recruitment team with ad hoc work, including supporting with the issuing of honorary contracts and providing administrative support to facilitate meetings including arranging meetings, inviting participants and producing notes and action plans
