Experience of ESR Workstructures, User Account administration, BI Reporting and Manager Self Service would be essential.

The post holder is a key member of the Workforce-ESR Team within Employment Services Department and responsible for supporting all aspects of ESR (Electronic Staff Services) which includes system administration, reporting, maintaining quality of data and overall administration of Manager Self Service and Portal Administration. The post holder ensures compliance to Trust data protection policy while always maintaining confidentiality.

1. Customer Service and Support
- Participates in front line telephone support by managing, achieving, and exceeding designated contracted Service Level Agreements by following service desk ‘Best Practice’ guidelines and working procedures.
- Deals diplomatically with personal and financial information for staff and organisationally (i.e., staff details, pay queries)
- Accurately records incoming calls to a high standard of accuracy and detail.
- Reacts to the requests using existing processes and to assist in the creation of processes where required.
- Escalates incidents in a timely manner as required.
- Acts professionally, to irate and sometimes unpleasant calls in connection with a wide range of systems issues.
- Provides day to day support to Workforce Information in the maintenance of ESR Work Structures and Self-Service functionality.

1.10. Contributes fully as a member of the Employment Services Team, working closely with and providing cover as requested for colleagues within the function

1. Documentation

**Participates**:

- in gathering information for writing System user guides
- in developing/testing ESR System User guides for Manager/Employee Self Service
- in handling the documentation process by adhering to the department documentation standards, format, and quality
- by working within allocated deadlines ensuring the user documentation is accurate and quality of information meets department audit standards
- by ensuring all user documents are published on the Trust Intranet within the allocated timelines
- by ensuring ‘SWFT User Notifications’ are published and communicated in conjunction with the department audit requirements

1. Training

**Assists in**:

- co-ordinating training dates

1. ESR Systems Administration(Electronic Staff Records)
- Provides ongoing support by ensuring quality data exists in the User Administration, Work Structures, Supporting Tables (i.e. Cost Centre and Account Codes compliant with General Ledger coding) and employee data
- Follows and communicates ‘Best Practice’ guidelines and working procedures as set out by the third-party service provider.
