As a Patient Administration Officer (PAO), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless processing of patient referrals and appointments, adhering to GenesisCare's policies and delivering outstanding customer service to patients and visitors.

Role Overview: As a PAO, you will collaborate closely with consultants and secretaries to provide essential support in the patient referral pathway. Serving as the primary point of contact for all patients, you will champion professionalism and efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass confirming referral receipt and registration for patients referred for various services, including Radiotherapy, Outpatient clinics, Chemotherapy & Diagnostics services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with consultants and secretaries to facilitate the patient referral process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, delivering a high standard of professional and efficient service.
- Confirm receipt of referrals and handle registrations for Radiotherapy, Outpatient clinics, Chemotherapy & Diagnostics services.

Experience and Skills:

- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate previous experience in efficiently managing a busy reception area.
- Showcase a background in customer-focused environments.
- Display adept relationship-building skills.
- Highlight a diverse range of administrative experience.
- Provide evidence of an empathetic and holistic approach to patient care.
- Illustrate experience in effectively resolving complaints.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

- Experience with the MOSAIQ IT package is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience within the healthcare sector is preferred.
