This is a brand new role which will ensure the success of our events through the delivery of staff requirements in terms of quality and quantity. **Established in 2003, Event Mobile Catering are a successful famil-run business with a reputation foe excellence in the mobile catering field. We provide catering services at some of the UK's largest and most prestigious events including Glastonbury, Boomtown,Leeds Festival and Formula 1 at Silverstone. We also provide regular catering back on our home turf at Cardiff Rugby.**

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Event Recruitment Officer:
- Undertake the recruitment of quality, event staff in line with company policies and legal requirements to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service;
- Identify appropriate sources for recruitment campaigns, including agencies, colleges, universities and websites, and develop good working relationships with suppliers to facilitate the delivery of high volumes of reliable personnel;
- Develop and continuously improve our recruitment approach;
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of all recruitment agencies, ensuring they conform to our standards and all legal requirements and consistently deliver the quality and quantity of staff required, escalating issues to line management as required;
- Conduct the registration of all event workers, ensuring they are legally entitled to work, maintaining a strict level of confidentiality when processing personal information and documentation;
- Coordinate the induction and training of event workers, ensuring they are fully informed and competent in relation to their role with particular emphasis on customer service, food hygiene and health and safety legislation;
- Efficiently coordinate the allocation, booking and payroll submissions for all event staff;
- Coordinate and book accommodation requirements for event staff in line with company policy and budgets;
- Proactively develop mutual, year-round engagement with the event workforce through regular contact via social media, newsletters, meetings; keeping them up-to-date with company news and initiatives, and obtaining feedback and suggestions;
- Liaise with key personnel in other divisions, especially Operations Managers and Event Managers, to ensure all relevant information is received and event requirements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively, including staff accreditation;
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in relation to recruitment and all aspects of employment, including the reporting/recording of accidents at work and to HSE;
- Undertake administrative duties for the HR department in order to develop our people, policies and processes, and support line managers;
- Promote company policies and procedures, and the ethos behind them, at all times to enhance the performance, welfare and safety of the company workforce.
**Event Requirements**:
Due to the nature of our business, there will be a requirement for the staffing manager to attend certain events to ensure our standards are being met in regards to staff and catering unit management. This may involve an overnight stay and weekend work. The ability to manage the office workload effectively and efficiently is essential. The role requires flexibility and forward planning. The role is not a typical 9-5 Mon to Fri job - it involves a combination of office and site work.
**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED**

- Highly flexible - a can do, proactive approach.
- Educated to a high standard, highly numerate and literate;
- Excellent administrative skills and fully competent in MS Office
- Confident user of social media platforms;
- Strong communicator and presentation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Driver’s License Essential.
**Desirable**
- Experienced in and passionate about the events or hospitality industry.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high volume recruitment business;
