We're looking for a broad skillset, as the Communications and Engagement Assistant will support our overall goals and operational objectives, _putting customers first_, whilst being _positive and adaptable_, which means _doing what we say we will, when we say will do it_, all while _working together_ as one team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- The role will be to help support the team to develop, promote and manage the Council’s customer experience process to ensure the views of our customers are instrumental in the delivery and improvement of services.
- To engage in a range of activities with customers and networking agencies to promote activity across the Council, working with partners to help support the programme.
- Support with brand development and being a brand champion for the Council.
- Support with content creation for external and internal platforms with sensitivity to differing audience and campaign needs.
- Business Partnering approach to work with key stakeholders to support both internal and external communications and engagement projects.
- Ensure the internal intranet is up to date and user friendly.
- Supporting and organising engagement events across West Lancashire.
