**Job description**
As the EA to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), this role provides proactive, comprehensive, and efficient EA support to facilitate the smooth operation of the sales function. It involves management of the CDO’s diary, coordination of sales meetings, support with coordinating sales team workload and projects, and enabling the efficient running of the department.
**Key Accountabilities**
The role is responsible for the following:
- Providing proactive and efficient EA support to the CDO, ensuring their schedule is accurate and efficiently managed for them to successfully perform their role.
- Coordinating the CDO’s diary, and those of the senior sales team as required.
- Coordinating and booking sales events and meetings for the CDO, partnering with Events Marketing as required.
- Supporting with sales team management & targets, workload coordination, sales project planning and delivery.
- Supporting with meeting preparation, including coordination, invites, presentation preparation and booking of meeting spaces and or venues (as needed).
- Maintaining robust sales information systems, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with internal governance processes and GDPR requirements.
- Preparing sales reports for the CDO including key sales data, statistics and KPIs.
- Collating and preparing sales data on behalf of the CDO for monthly board packs.
- Reviewing legal documentation as required by the CDO.
- Attending internal and external meetings, both face to face and virtual, made with all appropriate provisions and attendees confirmed.
- Meetings attended where required with notes/action points taken accurately and circulated afterwards in a timely manner.
- Supporting with process improvement initiatives within the sales team, including streamlining processes for increased efficiency.
- Supporting with travel and accommodation booking and expense reconciliation.
- Bespoke ad hoc projects and tasks completed as required.
**Key Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience of being an EA to Directors
- Experience of managing others or the outputs of others
- Strong working knowledge of Office365
- Experience of reviewing legal documentation
