**HR ADMINISTRATOR**

The Marcliffe Hotel & Spa, one of Scotland's finest luxury and elegant five-star Scottish country retreats has a new and exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join the family friendly exclusive hotel.

With its warm ambiance and picturesque setting on the outskirts of the historic city of Aberdeen. The Marcliffe hosts 40 bedrooms, function suites ranging from 350 to smaller, private dining and a fine dining restaurant. The hotel offers vast opportunities for clientele to enjoy some of Scotland's finest local delicacies in addition to activities such as world-renowned golfing, fishing and famous whisky trails.

**The Role**

The HR Administrator is responsible for organising and maintaining employee records, updating internal HR databases, preparation of HR documents and supporting all HR activities including recruitment, training and development and monthly processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- **HR Administration**:

- **Employment Terms & Conditions - **Drafting offer letters and contracts and letters communicating changes to salary and other variations to employment terms and conditions
- **On-boarding & Offboarding - **support managers with the necessary processes - induction/orientation, obtaining all necessary documents from new starts, communications, exit interviews, leavers forms, IT.
- **Learning & Development - **Search, enquire and book training courses, obtain completed training form agreements, update company/employee data with accurate information, maintain employee folders with certificates.
- **Payroll - **assist updating the monthly payroll report with new starts/ leavers and changes.
- **Holidays & Absences**:

- maintainrecords of all employee holidays and absences and drafting letters where necessary.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.
- Assist with other administrative projects and initiatives as assigned.

- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Good command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably HR.
- Good knowledge and experience of the various roles and departments in a Hospitality business.
- An understanding of the role HR plays in an organisation.
- IT skills including Outlook, MS office, Excel and Word.
