Are you looking for an exciting new job opportunity? We are looking for a new Workforce Systems and Intelligence Lead to join the team at East Cheshire NHS Trust for a period of 12 months.

The successful post holder will primarily be responsible for leading the workforce systems teams to ensure effective, responsive and resilient day-to-day delivery of operational services including the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and Workforce Information.

As part of the Senior HR Team, this role will play a vital role in delivering the Trust People Plan priorities, and will be responsible for driving forward a number of key improvement projects relating to workforce systems and processes, using technology as a lever for change. The post holder will also identify solutions and alternatives to traditional methods and approaches, driving improvement through innovation.

**Hours per week**: 37.5 - part time and flexible working opportunities are also available.

The post holder will have overall management responsibility for the ESR and Workforce Information teams, ensuring systems and processes are implemented, reviewed and maintained effectively and efficiently.

**Key result areas include**:

- Review, identify and implement systems and practices, making best use of information technology to streamline processes and maximise the effectiveness of the team.
- Provide leadership and line management support to the team and deal with employment matters as necessary (e.g. attendance, performance, contractual changes).
- Lead on the implementation of project and service plans specific to the teams, engaging with stakeholders and communicating progress across the Trust as appropriate.
- Through the Workforce Intelligence Team, provide a service for interpreting and analysing data to enable HR colleagues to plan and implement targeted and effective next steps.
- Consider, recommend and advise on how new national guidance should be formulated into Trust and Directorate policy and process, and implement these as appropriate.
- Ensure the continuous increase of the accuracy of information held on systems in order to improve the quality of Trust workforce information, and to ensure on-going maintenance of data and quality.
