Cakesmiths, the UK's leading independent baker of innovative and award winning traybakes and cake are looking for a passionate recruitment and HR Administrator to join their growing Bristol based team. Perfect for those looking to continue to develop their skills within HR, working closely with our HR Manager will offer the opportunity for growth in your knowledge.
Specialising in the coffee shop sector, Cakesmiths have and continue to rapidly expand. Driven by a passion for hand baking the highest quality and best tasting traybakes and cakes on the market, this expansion has led to the requirement to build our the Recruitment and HR function within the organisation.

**Day to day you will be**:
- Updating employee records, ensuring relevant employee information is accurate
- Supporting with the administration of the whole employee lifecycle from recruitment through to exit
- Managing agency employees from temp through to perm
- Supporting line managers in recruitment drives
- Triaging employee relations and supporting in answering HR-related queries/employee queries
- Inputting data into internal HR databases including ensuring absence records are maintained correctly
- Supporting in HR projects led by the HR Manager
- Liaising with the payroll department and line managers on people related issues
- Deputising for the HR manager when required
Essential
- Knowledge of employment law
- Computer literate
- MS office experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
Desirable
- CIPD Qualification (Level 3)
- Previous experience as a HR Assistant
- Previous experience in recruitment and selection
**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
