**You’ll join a fast-paced and friendly work environment as a highly motivated HR and Administration Officer.**

Three days a week will be spent supporting the HR team and two days providing assistance to the finance team.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy ensuring the smooth functioning of HR policies, as well as recruitment processes, and administrative support, this is the perfect opportunity for you

Ensure HR policies and processes are maintained and run smoothly, supporting and advising staff as required, including absence, leave, employee benefits, appraisal systems etc.

Managing contracts to conducting thorough reference checks, you'll coordinate a cost-effective and efficient recruitment experience for this organisation.

Updating of staff handbook, new starter contracts,

You’ll also oversee an annual leave system, ensuring meticulous record keeping and a seamless process for all. As well as maintain accurate records of staffing, roles, and internal contact information.

**What about you?**

To excel in this role, you’ll have general administration skills within a bustling office environment. Preferably with a dispersed workforce operating both in the office and remotely across the UK.

You will have excellent written and verbal skills, and strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

As you will be maintaining staff records, you’ll have excellent attention to detail, including organisational skills.

**If you have worked within or closely with a Finance department or HR department, this would be helpful as would the following**:

- Recruitment advertising and administration.
- Setting up contracts for new starters.
- Planning and implementing induction processes for new staff members.
- Updating and effectively communicating HR policies.
- Maintaining and enhancing staff handbooks.
- Proficiency in database data entry.
- Cash handling and bank deposit experience.
- Expertise in organising meeting logistics, including venue identification, liaison, and travel and accommodation arrangements is also welcome.
- A good working knowledge of GDPR regulations when processing confidential information about staff and partners.
