**What will you be doing?**
You will be part of a collaborative 5 person HR team that supports 200+ colleagues across 5 offices in the UK and Germany. In this role, you will get exposure to all aspects of HR with a firm that recognises that you’ll be an integral part of our growth and colleague satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities **(this list is non-exhaustive)
- ** Recruitment**: Assist with the annual graduate recruitment campaign and support other recruitment processes i.e., interview materials and organisation, issuing behavioural analysis tests, diary management, etc. Coordinating the Careers inbox, monitoring queries and actions where required.
- ** Employee Engagement**: you will support the Senior HR Administrator in coordinating our much-loved internal wellbeing programme i.e. help organise office days, competitions, team picnics, volunteer days etc.
- ** Onboarding**: This is the first impression colleagues have of working at HLK, you will collate induction paperwork, organise the induction schedule, and liaise with relevant teams (IT/Marketing) to get a new starter ready for their role at HLK.
- ** Offboarding**: You will have responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of offboarding colleagues.
- ** 1st line support**: Assisting with employee queries from across five sites. Coordinating the HR inbox - monitoring queries daily and responding to actions as required.
- ** Learning & Development**: Manage our internal Academy for trainee attorneys. You will coordinate the semester sessions and upload relevant learning resources.
- ** Administration**:We are a digital team; you will share responsibility to keep our files updated.
- ** Projects**: Assist with ad hoc projects
- ** Absence**: Tracking and reporting on employee absence
**Person Specification**
We’re looking for a proactive administrator who is highly organised, enjoys a varied workload, and has a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrable HR administration experience is essential.
- Knowledge of the professional services environment is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- An aptitude for learning and the ability to show initiative.
- Able to demonstrate resilience and be curious about processes, has a desire to learn and to do a good job.
- GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in Mathematics and English (A-Levels and a degree would be an advantage).
