City of York Council’s corporate Business Support Service is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team. The post holder will provide quality administrative support to our Business Support Hub This will involve working in the scanning and mail department and central administrative hub. Duties will include processing mail items, corporate scanning, processing purchase orders, invoices and undertaking a range of reactive admin duties such as transcribing, data input and long service award processing.

Key skills required for the role are:

- Ability to work quickly and accurately on a wide range of tasks for which attention to detail is key
- Ability to manage own workloads, prioritising and planning effectively to ensure statutory timescales are met
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team
- High standard of computer literacy
