The Lead Employer Trust (LET) team is made up of an HR function, an inhouse Payroll function and a Finance function. With a team of 40 staffmembersyou must have the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues across all functions within the LET with a determination to succeed as part of a team.

Within theNorth Eastand North Cumbria the LET is responsible for recruitment, employment and payroll of doctors and dentists in training within NHS England Education. All doctors and dentists in training are employees for the entirety of their training programme and rotate between the relevant host training providers within theNorth Eastand North Cumbria. Currently the LET employs approximately 2200 trainees across 10 NHS Foundation Trusts and over 200 GP Practices.

We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate. High quality patient care is at the heart of everything we do and we strive to ensure every single patient and service user has an exceptional experience with us. We have one of the most extensive patient experience programmes of any trust in England.

This post is office based at Waterfront 4, Newcastle upon Tyne but a move to Stella House (same business park will happen in November 2023) with the possibility of 1 day per week home working.

As the administrator for helpdesk and Oracle Learner Management (OLM) you will be the first point of contact within the LET to provide support to learners regarding e-Learning queries, as well as maintaining the administrative and technical aspects of the learning management systems for the purpose of recording high quality data and supporting the production of accurate reporting.

You will maintain and support the LET Helpdesk function within HR.

You must have the confidence and ability to communicate effectively using telephone, face to face and written methods. Please view the Job Description for further details on the specifics of this role.
