As the People Assistant, you will provide first line transactional support and advice across the employee lifecycle.

**What you'll do**:

- Providing generalist administration support across the People team.
- Provide proactive advice and support to managers regarding people-related issues, aligning with policies and procedures to enhance consistency and continuously improve employee engagement and experience.
- Regularly review and update all People policies to ensure alignment with current legislation and best practices.
- Providing support on different projects throughout the team
- Coordinating the new hire process, delivering inductions, and managing the onboarding process within a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., payroll and benefits providers) to process payroll changes efficiently.

**We would like you to have**:

- You will have from 1-2 years' experience in a progressive People generalist role, ideally in a start-up environment.
- Understanding of employment laws and best practices
- Experience in payroll and benefits administration (Desirable)
- Proficient in various HR systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective at prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
- Displays a can-do attitude and perseverance in overcoming challenges.
