Office Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in an administrative role and contribute to the success of our organization.
**Duties**:
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Assist with data entry tasks to maintain accurate records
- Type and prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff members
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in computerized systems such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
**Salary**: £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
