The Professional Services department is the cornerstone of the University. It provides essential and valuable support to both the corporate and the Academic departments, helping the University to function in the most efficient and productive way, ensuring that the students’ experience is second to none.

**Role Purpose**:

- The UK School Engagement Officer is a key customer facing role within the University, and will often be the first point of contact for prospective students at University. They are responsible for the organisation and implementation of UK Student Recruitment with schools, both on and off campus.
- In collaboration with the UK Student Recruitment Manager and Officer, the School Engagement Officer will contribute to the development of segmented customer relationship management strategies that focus on the recruitment of targeted groups. These include secondary school students, prospective mature students and prospective postgraduate students.

The position works closely with the UK Student Recruitment Manager to implement all aspects of the coordination of on campus and off campus UK events, this includes Open Days, UCAS fairs, and Schools liaison. They will also be responsible for overseeing the University’s Student Ambassador programme, ensuring that Student Ambassadors are properly trained and attend appropriate university events.

**Experience and Knowledge**
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Understanding of University structures and systems, and wider sector/external awareness.
- Approximately 1 year relevant work experience would be an advantage.
- Proactively engage in continuing professional development/training to keep knowledge and skills up-to-date.
- Knowledge of and adherence to the University's Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities policies/procedures.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
