Bookkeeper

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain financial records by accurately recording day-to-day financial transactions
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Prepare and submit tax forms and other compliance documents
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employee salaries
- Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities
**Skills**:
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial data
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
