Location: The post holder will be required to work flexibly across all campuses, according to department needs

**Salary**: £20,022.66 (FTE)
Duration: Temporary

To contribute as a member of a team to ensure that the entry, registration and examinations undertaken by students at all College sites are managed effectively and efficiently and completed in accordance with the Awarding bodies requirements. Further, thatthe data involved in these activities is recorded accurately within the College’s student records system.
- Receive, input and update examination entries from students and staff. Issue statements of entry, timetables, results, certificates and awards
- Co-ordinate the entries, registrations and results for examinations at all College sites in collaboration with teaching and administrative staff and the Examination Co-ordinator
- Assist in the generation and transmissions of examination submission (via electronic data interchange) to examination boards and receive results for examinations by EDI
- Receive and check examination papers on arrival at the College and also scripts prior to dispatch
- Arrange invigilators and room allocations in liaison with staff across the College throughout the academic year. Prepare exam room seating plans in line with the requirements of the examination boards
- Maintain 'Completion & Outcome’ data on the College’s Management Information System for all students who have completed a course with the College
- Liaise with college managers, administrative and teaching staff regarding the data recording for examination entries and with the Finance staff for course and examination entry fees
- Deputise for the Examinations Co-ordinator as required, including meeting with Centre Inspection personnel and supporting invigilators to ensure the integrity of public examinations
- Participate in audits (both internal & external) providing information derived from the ILR, advice and assistance on the interpretation of that information, as appropriate
- Ensure secure filing of student examination records and maintain appropriate student confidentially
- Undertake specific roles as prescribed by College policies and procedures
- Act as a role model for all staff, students and external contacts by demonstrating the College’s values and behaviours
- Participate in appraisal and continuing professional development
- Be alert to any indication or allegation of abuse and take appropriate action under the College procedures for the protection of children and vulnerable adults
- Promote equality of opportunity and diversity in all aspects of the role, including curriculum development where appropriate, and challenge inequality and discrimination
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (e.g. General Data Protection Regulations, Copyright) and all College policies
- Undertake other duties as may reasonably be expected within the scope and objectives of the post

Essential

Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) or willingness and ability to study for these qualifications within one year of appointment
Proven commitment to quality improvement and to the delivery of a first-class College-wide service
Proven attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to manage and co-ordinate complex tasks to meet deadlines Ability and willingness to work flexibly as a member of a team
Good IT Skills; including experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Manage own time, work under pressure, plan effectively, meet deadlines and targets and work independently
Build and sustain good working relationships with a wide cross section of people and adapt a customer oriented approach
Be highly self-motivated and enthusiastic and willing to undertake personal professional development
