This role will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional and efficient claims management service, from first notification of loss through to decision and settlement.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reviewing and understanding insurance policy terms and conditions.
- Communicate with claimants throughout the claim process to provide regular updates and advise them on the status, request additional information and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the status and outcome of claims.
- Using internal and external claims administration systems to regularly update the status of all claims and ensure the information is kept up to date at all times.
- Maintain and manage claims reports and ensure all claims data and statistics are accurate and produced in accordance with SLAs.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Previous experience handling insurance claims would be preferred.
- Happy to consider previous customer service experience within the insurance industry from other areas.
- Any insurance qualifications would also be advantageous.
- Strong customer service focus demonstrating awareness, empathy, and sympathy with customers.
- Exceptional communications skills required including written and verbal.
- Ability to identify potential risks and seek advice from internal and external stakeholder when required.
- A strong understanding and adherence to company processes.
- Exceptional social skills with the ability to interact and engage with team members and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
- Eligible to work in the UK.

Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

**Experience**:

- Insurance Claims: 2 years (preferred)
- Insurance Industry Experience (essential)
- GCSEs or similar in Maths and English (essential)
- 4 GCSEs or similar equivalent (preferable)
- Good knowledge and confident use of Microsoft office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
