There are two career grade registrars in Elderly Medicine on a training rotation within the North Trent Deanery 3.ST, F2 and F1 Total of 10 posts at these grades The Post The post is based at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Hospital. The Healthcare for Older People Clinical Service Unit has a bed base over three acute general medicine wards. Emergency admissions are accepted and assessed initially in the integrated Medical Admissions Unit for the Division of Medicine. The out of hours on call rota in integrated with other General Physicians and currently works on 1 in 16 basis to support the Emergency Medicine consultants and trainee doctors rota, providing specialist advice and ward rounds on call.

To provide a consultant medical service for inpatient and outpatient services and for the proper functioning of the department. Secretarial Support & Office Accommodation The post holder will be allocated office accommodation and will be provided with secretarial support. A personal computer with access to both the Trust internal IT systems and the Internet will be provided.
