WHAT TO EXPECT

The Retail Programmes Team are part of the Market & Business Operations function within the Commercial Organisation. We have responsibility for the measurement of Retailer performance and for the creation, improvement & maintenance of Retailer processes. These processes support the Retailer Journey and are the bedrock of Client Experience measurement.

This dynamic, friendly team are responsible for; Retailer Balanced Scorecard, Retailer Performance Tool Kit, Mystery Shop Programme, Variable Retailer Margin Programme, Retailer Standards Programme, Retailer Performance Management Programme, Approved Pre-Owned and the Business Sales Programme. Everything we do supports the transformation of JLR at Retailer level. Joining this team would give you exposure to a variety of workstreams, support your development & improve your understanding of how a Retailer operates across our global markets.

We measure Retailer Performance through Global Retailer Balanced Scorecard (RBS). Our Scorecard is an Anaplan calculation engine, currently with traditional automotive metrics across Sales & Aftersales, surfacing in one dashboard the performance data of circa 1500 Retailers Globally. As JLR transitions to Modern Luxury, so too will our metrics, this transformation will enable us to measure Retailer Performance as a reflection of Client Experiences.

This key role assumes responsibility for ensuring the ongoing deployment & development of Retailer Balanced Scorecard globally. This is a technical role that works closely with the RBS Product Owner in an agile environment. As RBS Project Consultant you will be responsible for the management the RBS Dedicated Support Squad. This is a 12-month fixed term contract for maternity cover and a great way to access a career in JLR - Join us & be part of the transformation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support Product Owners as and when needed to resolve any issues.
- Accountable for specific data quality outputs through RBS
- Liaison with Anaplan Support team
- Management of Anaplan RBS Model & Anaplan Target/Thresholds Model
- JIRA Ticket Management & Progression of status (SCRUM Management)
- Liaise with key stakeholders at market level to understand user issues
- Technical onboarding of markets & support of retailer access requests
- Interaction with data SME’s to ensure smooth running of RBS
- RBS metric changes Governance Management
- Manage RBS Dependencies with connected & related JLR systems.
- Produce internal materials on network performance programmes.
- Support training programmes related to network performance.
- Support development of project plans in line with the team requirements
- Support development of change and communication plans and assess levels of adoption.
- Monitor progress of each project state and facilitate necessary interventions by escalating project obstacles and coordinating timely resolution.
- Analyse strengths, weakness and risks of existing project plans as well as recommending future improvements.
- Foster cross-departmental and cross-market collaboration and promote successes to establish a positive environment in which change is welcomed and accelerated.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As the Project Consultant, you’ll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:

- Anaplan Model Builder Level 1 minimum
- Project management and process development skills
- Analytical and able to frame appropriate insights
- Great organisational skills and time management
- Ability to grasp the management structures, politics and culture of the Commercial organisation
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities and communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to work on multiple projects and challenging business issues
- Analytical skills and ability to present complex data and issues to a varied audience
- Ability to manage risks and issues.
- Methodical detailed approach to work context
- Strong presentation skills, both written and oral
- Capability of seeing the 'bigger picture' and thinking strategically
- Broad range of IT skills

Please note that this is a temporary assignment for 12 months. If you are a permanent employee, you will return to your current role / team at the end of the assignment unless you find an alternative role. If you are a fixed term employee, you will be offered a new fixed term contract for this assignment.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office. At JLR, hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement providing employees with more choice and flexibility around how, when and where they work, if suitable for their role. Further details can be discussed with the Hiring Manager at interview stage.
