NonStop Consulting is currently hiring for a Blue light sector client in North Wales a Technology Change and Assurance Manager where you'll own the overall IT Change Management lifecycle including IT Change Management Policy & Procedures, ensuring businessservices are not unexpectedly impacted following the execution of IT Changes. Alongside this you'll be providing expert programme, project, and technical management skills to a range of implementation projects that are of strategic importance to the Force,whilst managing the smooth transition of a project's products and services to their operational in-life state.
This is an exciting opportunity which offers the possibility to working the public sector, full time with the option to work flexibly from your own home to reduce any requirement for unnecessary travel.
The daily pay rate is very competitive and they are offering an 8 months contract with a strong possibility of turning into a permanent position, which will guarantee your work stability on a longer term and overall it's an amazing chance for a professionalto build up on their knowledge and skills by adding a public sector experience in their portfolio, which will for sure guarantee opening more doors in the future.
The requirements that this role entail are:
- Recognised PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification, or equivalent formal project management skills and experience through the adoption of PRINCE2 best practice.
- Qualified in ITIL v3.0.
- Significant amount of previous experience in the operational management of an ICT service area with ideally some level of experience in the management of an ICT service area for a police force or other 24/365 emergency service/operational time criticalservice organisation.
- Experience of managing contractors within the ITIL best practice.
- Formal in life management skills and experience through the adoption of ITIL best practices.
- Expert knowledge and experience in the management of IT change.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft product portfolio, including Office Suite, Windows Servers, Servers, Developer Tools, Windows Desktop/Mobile.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and related databases, and UNIX Systems, with expert knowledge of SAN storage technologies.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills ability, with the ability to adopt a problem orientated approach.
- Able to work as part of a team or independently using own initiative.
- Well organised and have excellent co-ordination skills with an analytical and imaginative approach to identifying process improvements.
- A working knowledge of mobility implementations, alongside knowledge of various networking protocols and topologies.
