**Responsibilities**:

- Customer (or User) Focus: Understands how UI design impacts the overall user experience.
- Creative Problem Solving: Independently identifies different creative solutions and looks for opportunities to develop new ideas or thinking within own role.
- Product Design: Iterate on defined user experience concepts and components for the product or project using tools such as wireframes, prototypes, and process flow diagrams.
- Data Driven Analysis & Testing: Explores data from analytics packages, customer insight or other sources to understand context of research work.

**Requirements**:

- UK-based (remote working is currently available but ability to travel to and work in London will be required)
- Strong portfolio
- B2B or professional services background desirable.
- Education in art/design is preferable.

Your first year working in the UK UX team

Week 1 - Gentle on board
- Goal: Know who to reach out to for help and how we work as a team
- Meet the UX team, we are supportive, kind and passionate about what we do.
- Get your equipment and software setup.
- Understand how we work, introduction to our design system and UX process.
- Gain a broad understanding of how our business works.

Month 1 - Understand the customers
- Goal: Understand the LexisNexis business and build relationships with key stakeholders in Product and Technology.
- Start working with the core team you will be supporting, start to attend agile ceremonies to provide assistance to support already defined UX work.
- Work with UX research to meet our customers and understand their key drivers and their JTBD (Jobs To Be Done).
- Understand our UX strategy and start to define your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results for the year ahead).

Quarter 1 - Embed yourself in the team you support
- Goal: Become the “go to person” for UX in the team you support
- Own the UX process from initial ideas through research, visual design, to supporting the development and deployment of features.
- Define what customer success looks like for our efforts.
- Strengthen relationships to form effective tri-factors of UX, Product and Technology that support the team.

Year 1 - New ideas
- Goal: Be the creator of new experiments
- Work with product and technology to identify new experiments.
- Define measures of success for experiments created by you and the team you support.
- Grow your skillset and excel.
- Enjoy the work
