The following are the core responsibilities of the PCN HR and Compliance Administrator.
There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
Key Responsibilities:
**HR Administration**:
- Manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in on boarding new employees by preparing documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating training as required.
- Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations accurately and promptly.
**Compliance Oversight**:
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws, NHS policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with NHS standards and procedures regarding employee documentation, contracts, and certifications.
- Collaborate with HR management to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
**Support for HR Functions**:
- Provide administrative support to managers, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining filing systems.
- Assist in the coordination of employee training and development programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to address cross-functional HR issues and initiatives.
- Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of disciplinary actions, grievances, and other employee-related matters.
**Communication and Collaboration**:
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including HR staff, managers, and employees, to ensure understanding and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Collaborate with external entities such as regulatory agencies, vendors, and professional organizations as necessary.
