Export Sales Coordinator

AVK UK Limited is part of the AVK Group, who are market leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of valves, pipe fittings, hydrants and flow control equipment to the Water, Wastewater, Oil and Gas industries throughout the world.
A new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic team player to join our expanding team in either Staveley or Northampton.
You will act as one of the main points of contact within the company for Export customers and the external sales team. from processing sales orders to the preparation of quotations and documents.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Communicating with customers to clarify requirements, and advising on pricing, lead times and delivery dates.
- Provide quotations and prices to customers and maintain sales funnel.
- Sales order processing and the raising of purchase orders.
- Maintaining a clean order book
- Export documentation.
- Respond to telephone enquiries and correspondence from customers.
- Increase sales by advising customers of products to complement/support their order.
- Liaise with technical support to ensure quotations meet customer’s requirements.
- Assist and support Customer Service Manager, Key Account Managers and Product Manager as and when required.
- Monitor and report performance against Key Performance Indicators.
- Raise discrepancy complaint forms and customer complaints when required.
- Manage the customer data base ensuring it is up to date and accurate.
- Assist with CRM data input as and when required.
- To assist the Customer Service team as and when required
- General admin duties.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Previous experience working in a similar customer engaging role.
- Previous knowledge of Export would be beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages especially Excel.
- Proven experience of dealing with key customers in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication and solution orientated problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and observation.
- Flexibility to adjust workload priorities to take account of new deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset.
- Independent worker with excellent organisation / time management skills

**WORKING HOURS**:
37.5 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 0830-1715
Friday 0830-1600
