**Salary: £25,651.63 (£28,246.38 is achieved after 18 months successful performance in the role)**

**The difference you will make as a Governance Administrator**:
To provide administrative support to the Governance Team in delivering company secretarial services across the Group and to perform such tasks as are required to maintain effective and efficient group governance.

**About You**

We are looking for someone with Significant experience of successfully managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment, delivering objectives to deadline and in line with business priorities.

**Role Profile**

**Boards and Committees**
- Send and manage Outlook invitations for all Board and Committee meetings.
- Circulate agendas in advance of all meetings to report writers and monitor the submission of reports against deadlines liaising with the business as required.
- Receive, check and file all submitted reports.
- Create and circulate meeting packs both electronically and in hard copy and upload to the relevant Sharepoint site.
- Manage all meeting logistics such as catering, room booking, car parking, travel, accommodation and technical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all Board/Committee Member information.
- Maintain the corporate record for all Boards/Committees including minute books.
- Support the Governance Officer in administrative tasks to formalise all new Board and Committee appointments.
- Organise all meetings required as part of Board/Committee member induction and appraisal

**Compliance**
- Maintain the central Group Compliance Register
- Maintain the Statutory Registers for relevant Group entities.
- Maintain the staff and Board/Committee Member Registers of Interests
- Coordinate the bi-annual review and update exercise for the Riverside Power of Attorney
- Provide administrative support for annual internal compliance checks across the Group.
- Collate and provide information requested by suppliers under ‘Know Your Client’ requirements.

**Professional Support**
- Respond promptly and positively to requests for service, information and advice from Board/Committee Members and colleagues.
- Provide a consistent, professional service that is well regarded by all Stakeholders/team customers.

**Strategy and Development**
- Deliver continuous improvement, seeking regular feedback from managers on how the service could be improved.
- Identify and deliver responsive and innovative solutions which respond to current and future business needs.
- Actively contribute to the design of the Governance Team Strategy and Plan and take ownership of delivery where appropriate.

**Other**
- Act as an initial point of contact for team queries and allocate as appropriate to colleagues.
- Monitor the team electronic mailbox and deal with all incoming communications appropriately.
- Collect and process incoming and outgoing team post daily.
- Maintain all governance information published on the intranet and website.
- Organise and support all team meetings.
- Maintain the team plan of work.
- Manage the team filing system to ensure record-keeping is efficient, robust and secure.
- Organise team training and conference attendance as directed.
- Process invoices and purchase orders Conduct research as directed into specific governance matters to support team activity.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

**Essential**
- Significant experience of successfully managing a diverse workload in a fast paced environment, delivering objectives to deadline and in line with business priorities
- An understanding of and commitment to operating with integrity and in a confidential and discreet manner
- Proven record of operating with mínimal supervision utilising their own skills, knowledge and initiative to deliver results
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and an ability to relate to people at all levels.
- Experience of working within a similar role involving liaison with key stakeholders including senior members of an organisation.
