We are recruiting for a Board and Governance Officer to support governance arrangements across the Torus Group.

**This is an important role in which you will be responsible for**:

- Ensuring the efficient administration of all Board and Committee meetings including agenda management and the timely production of Board papers.
- Acting as lead governance support for Board and Committee meetings including attendance at meetings, production of accurate minutes and action lists and other related ad-hoc governance meetings (including evening and other out of normal working hours whereappropriate).
- Assisting the Group Head of Governance in managing the governance cycle and support Board and Committee members to undertake their duties.
- Undertake a range of administrative duties to support the Group governance arrangements.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Hold an NVQ level three in Business Administration or equivalent;
- Have prior experience of working in a similar role;
- Have experience of board management and administration along with formal minute taking;
- Be confident in collaborating with leaders and managers, and building effective working relationships at all levels;
- Have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines; and
- Have experience of working in a pressurised environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
