My client, a GP federation operating across 5 practices in Knowsley, Liverpool, is recruiting a passionate, determined, and resilient individual to join their growing team as a Governance & Quality Officer, in the fast-paced environment of primary care.

Reporting to the Associate Lead of Governance, this role is to develop and promote the delivery of patient-centred care within primary care.

Aim to achieve a delivery of high standards in health and safety management, compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), supporting a resilient staff team, achieving contractual compliance and exceeding expectations through innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
This role willrequire the individual to communicate effectively at all levels and produce concise written documentation.

Promote good practice for Governance and Quality, providing advice and guidance on governance issues and standards to all staff and raise awareness of governance issues throughout Knowsley.

Including:
Work to Information Governance requirements

Support and monitor Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) ensuring there is an evidence base for audit purposes by collating evidence for each CQC standard

Support the annual submission of NHS England contractual requirements

Ensure appropriate and timely action, through appropriate escalation channels, where compliance issues are flagged

Promote a data-driven culture across the organisation, working with the business stakeholders to educate on the importance of governance and compliance

Support with thematic analysis review(s) of key data driven from systems utilised within the organisation

Collating and adding actions from audits, ensuring a level of accountability is assigned

Collating and adding actions from all meetings across Knowsley, and escalating where necessary, through the appropriate escalation channels

Seeking evidence of closure of actions and logging any effectiveness checks on the system

Undertake audits on applicable areas of the Quality Management System

Production of Reports on Quality Assurance

Maintain accurate record keeping / documentation and to maintain confidential patient information as per protocols

Provide on-site support whilst carrying out audits

Participate in training identified as necessary to carry out the functions of the post

Carrying out any other duties as may reasonably be required

Skills Required:
Must have similar Administration experience working with the CQC

Strong administration and project management skills

Experience of minute taking, auditing, collating evidence to meet CQC standards - desirable

Some exposure to a medical practice environment would be preferred

Experience of working in a social care environment - desirable

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Benefits**:
Salary £26k-£28k, depending on experience
