We have an opportunity for a Domestic Abuse Administration Officer to join the Safeguarding Department, where you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Domestic Abuse Coordinators, and wider Domestic Abuse Team.

**A little bit about us**

The Domestic Abuse Team provide a single point of contact for safeguarding concerns relating to Domestic Abuse across York and North Yorkshire. The work of the team is critical in the multiagency response to protect adults and children and from abuse.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Providing a full range of administrative support to the Domestic Abuse Team this will include handling highly confidential, personal and sensitive information in accordance with legal requirements and local protocols.
- Working with with partner agencies, team members and colleagues, to maintain relationships, contributing positively and constructively to the achievement of team safeguarding goals.
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment within the team office. Managing the office calendar/diary, booking meetings and general office management.
- Scanning and recording of documents on to NICHE in line with Data Management.
- Keeping accurate records regarding accessing of information.
- Providing figures and statistics as requested by NYP and partner agencies.

- Have effective planning, organising and decision-making skills alongside the ability to problem solve, monitor, and maintain performance.
- Manage their time effectively to meet specific deadlines, whilst always maintaining accuracy and quality of data.
- Have a passion for communicating with a range of diverse customers across a variety of platforms and enjoy building and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Be talented in using various IT systems including the ability to manipulate information and data to compile documentation.
- Be adaptable and resourceful with a keen eye for detail.

Previous experience of working in an administrative role within a sensitive and confidential environment would be desirable.
