Based in York, this role requires an organised, self-motivated approach with the ability to multitask. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office team including Sales, Operations, Accounts and general administration.

**Description**

**The successful Operations Administrator will be responsible for**:

- Answering incoming calls, confidently transferring calls, and taking accurate messages in the person's absence
- Providing a warm, welcoming environment for all incoming visitors and clients
- Providing support to the accounts and administration team, which includes activities such as scanning, filing, archiving and uploading of invoices to the accounts system for the sales and purchase ledgers
- Creating workflow tickets on CRM for teams, ensuring tasks are created and assigned to the relevant department, paying close attention to detail
- Arranging incoming and outgoing post and ensuring that office supplies are adequately stocked
- Supporting the Office Manager with booking meeting rooms and any ad hoc duties as required
- Updating Hubspot with service and maintenance notes
- Assisting with the creation of a new department-wide resource that will be available to all team members

**Please note that this role is entirely office-based.**

**Profile**

**The successful Operations Administrator will be able to demonstrate**:

- Previous administration experience
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Confidence in multi-tasking
- Skill in working as part of a team and independently
- Willing to learn, with a professional and friendly nature
- System experience desirable but not essential (Xero, Hubspot, Odoo, or other CRM or ERP systems)
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is also highly advantageous
