We are seeking to recruit an additional Technical Support Advisor to work within our Call Centre. This position is office-based and at our UK branch in Nelson, Lancashire.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanic / technician, with a good knowledge of automotive electrical architecture and vehicle communications, looking to come off the tools and try something new.

**The Role**

As a Technical Support Advisor at TEXA you will be required to:

- Answer incoming calls to the TEXA Helplines providing a high level of experienced support for technicians on vehicle specific issues.
- Offer advice on product software issues, vehicle fault codes, and best practice in the use of TEXA products.
- Create technical bulletins to enhance the software database and verification of translated bulletins created by other markets.
- Assist our colleagues at Head Office with any software testing on existing and new vehicles to ensure full coverage within our tools.
- Previous experience as a motor mechanic/vehicle technician is essential.
- Good IT skills and an understanding of vehicle diagnostics and electronics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Logical thinking with the ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively.

All necessary training will be provided on our full range of products and software systems to ensure you are fully conversant with all requirements.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Automotive service: 5 years (preferred)
