An opportunity has arisen to join the Procurement Team in the role of Procurement Process Lead. Reporting to the Procurement Manager and forming part of a team, which is responsible for delivering a professional procurement service and achieving significant efficiencies and contract compliance for the Trust.

The Procurement Process Lead will be responsible for;
- Develops, coordinates and delivers a cost-effective procurement /contracts work plan to achieve financial targets
- Advises users/budget holders on procurement policies and procedures
- Undertakes Procurement activity low/medium value contracts (RFQ/Benchmarking)
- Operational Procurement (P2P) process review
- Catalogue Management lead
- Contract Lead link with NHSSC and Accounts Payable
- Complex Data analysis lead

To support and training of the 1,300 e-procurement, PIM, e-financials and stock users

To support Finance Systems Administration
- Support Data analyst with Complex data sets through detailed product knowledge and experience. Specifically for complex tenders where a high level of analysis is required to triangulate spend between budgets, system invoiced spend and supplier spend.
- Complex data sets required on high level strategic procurements to achieve accurate commercial schedule for ITT documentation
- Pull together different data sets into one easy to read format
- Contract Manager - NHSSC and Product Categories - increase coverage to increase our contract coverage when reporting nationally
- Responsible for delivering the NHSSC delivery plan, coordinating with senior buyers and contract managers to ensure this is achieved. Identifying non contract product spend and mapping formularies to NHSSC framework where applicable
- Procure to Pay - Review, evaluate and recommend process improvements. Understand of full end to end procurement process. Identifying non PO and exceptions spend and moving this to PO where possible.
- Identifying operation contract management where procure to pay process falls over, looking at requisitioning, reporting and invoicing solutions to ensure a LEAN process and then identifying and developing a process solution for a more automated way of working with finance systems team.
- Being involved in Scope and implementation procurement stage for all new procurements to identify where efficiencies in the P2P process can be achieved.
