**Senior Buyer - Category Management Expert**

Concept are pleased to be recruiting a Senior Buyer to join a dynamic and rapidly growing team, for a global organisation. A leader in their field, and a well-known brand who are embarking on a journey to deliver innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction through a defined Category Management buying structure and are seeking a talented Senior Buyer to contribute to ensure continued success.

**Position Overview**:
As a Senior Buyer with a focus on Category Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy and ensuring the optimal sourcing of goods and services. We are looking for an experienced professional who can leverage their solid knowledge of category management to drive efficiency, cost savings, and supplier collaboration.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Category Management:_
- Develop and implement effective category management strategies.
- Conduct market analysis, identify trends, and assess potential risks and opportunities within assigned categories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category strategies with overall business objectives.
- Supplier Relationship Management:_
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate favourable terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve cost savings and quality assurance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans where necessary.
- Sourcing and Procurement:_
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories.
- Identify new suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:_
- Utilise data-driven insights to monitor and evaluate category performance.
- Generate reports on key procurement metrics and present findings to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Senior Buyer with a focus on category management in a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant procurement software and tools.
