Butler Rose are delighted to be working with a manufacturing business on the Devon/Somerset border who currently require the assistance of a Production Administrator. The position is commutable Taunton, Wellington, Tiverton, South Molton and Cullompton

**Overall purpose of job**:
The purpose of the role is to work with the production team, supporting with administration, organisation and stakeholder communication.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing the amended order confirmation and works order paperwork processes.
- Correctly labelling shipments.
- Scanning in completed order and shipment paperwork when complete.
- Checking paperwork for correct completion, issuing stock to works orders ready for dispatch process and advising of any necessary stock movements.
- Attend daily production meeting and report on status of upcoming jobs to relevant stakeholders.
- Check and report on product awaiting packing, and un-shipped packages.
- Monitor factory label and related shipping consumable stock to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Printing Operating Instructions in the required format and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Assisting the Production Manager with HR, and business objective related administration.
- Assisting the Production Manager and Team Leaders in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and customer specific packaging and labelling requirements.
- Miscellaneous office duties including data entry, filing, scanning and recording meeting notes.

**Key Skill & Qualification Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing administration role required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is essential.
- Highly organised and flexible.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment and meet changing deadlines.
- Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Good grade GCSE/similar qualifications in English and Mathematics.

A reliable, experienced, and highly organised administrator who is motivated and committed to delivering a high standard of work consistently in a busy, responsive and customer focused environment.

**Salary up to £24,000**
