This role has ownership of two payroll schemes (c.380 monthly payslips, primarily salaried) as well administration of benefits including pensions, company car, and cash allowances, private health and life assurance covers.

One of our divisions has a large seasonal headcount (c. 330, primarily hourly paid) and while this is part of one of the aforementioned PAYE schemes, it is run separately on a bi-weekly basis for 10-16 weeks each year.

Using Natural HR and Cintra IQ you will ensure new starters, leavers and any changes to the usual monthly payroll are accurately reflected in systems and the final payroll production. While the system takes care of the calculations, we’re looking for someone with good experience of doing so to be able to be our internal expert with the ability to answer colleague questions about their pay.

- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and demonstrable experience of achieving a high degree of accuracy.
- Approachable and customer-focused - you’ll believe that matters relating to colleague pay are #1 priority at all times.
- Proactive and a strong communicator - willing to share knowledge with colleagues which may include occasional brief internal training/refresher sessions.

**What experience do I need to demonstrate**
- Payroll administration including calculations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation with the willingness to be proactive in communicating and planning for change where necessary.
- Working to non-negotiable timeframes.
- Experience of working with Cintra IQ will be a big advantage.
- Confident Excel user, able to work with data to produce accurate reports.

**What are my hours and working days**

We’re looking for someone to work 20-24 hours per week, over 5 days (Monday to Friday) with no weekend work.

**Is this a hybrid role**

Yes We know that being visible and accessible is a key component of the excellent feedback we get as a team, so 2-3 days per week are office-based.
