Assessments and Partnerships Officer

**Description**:
The role of Assessments and Partnerships Officer sits within the Assessments and Progression Team which covers procedures relating to Assessment Boards, alumni record enquiries, exceptional circumstances, academic misconduct cases and appeal claims.

**About the Role**:
Key responsibilities include creating and updating records, analysing data to look for patterns and investigating more complex enquiries. Building strong relationships with partners will be key, as this will ensure that they are aware of the relevant protocols, procedures, and deadlines at key points in the year. In addition, the Assessments and Partnerships Officer will attend and assist with the Assessment Boards including organising those held at partner institutions, creating assessment board papers, taking minutes, and advising the board on specific student records where required.

**About You**:

- Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
- Significant recent and relevant administrative experience
- Experience of using databases and the ability to accurately process a large amount of student data (such as marks and grades for Assessment Boards) in a time-efficient manner.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, building effective working relationships using excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information and competing priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills that prioritise the business needs of the university and the student experience.
- Ability to proactively manage a busy workload, including frequent communication with a high number of different stakeholders and contacts.
