**Direct Channel Assistant**
**£28,000pa**

Procurement Services are looking for a confident individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to build and sustain strong working relationships.

The Direct Channel Assistant will be responsible for retaining and generating new business across the public sector, providing advice on procurement and usage of frameworks to support customers in their buying decisions.

**Key duties -**
- Communicate new product and service developments to prospective customers
- Support the Direct Channel Executive in identifying procurement opportunities nationally by contacting potential customers in new markets as well as continued growth amongst existing customers
- Manage on-going customer relationships to maximise probability of success, ensuring all appropriate contract documentation is signed by the customer
- Record procurement activity including all customer, supplier and framework activity
- Consistently hit KPIs of procurement activity and usage of frameworks, regularly reporting performance to the Direct Channel Executive
- Maintain a strong understanding of the challenges facing public sector and illustrate knowledge of the product/service you are offering

**What we need from you -**
- Experienced in developing relationships and networking with decision makers
- A proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads is desirable but not essential
- Ability to use your own initiative and manage your time effectively to ensure maximum productivity
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written to ensure clear and concise messaging is projected out to colleagues, customers and suppliers
