Post Cct Special Interest Fellow, Obstetrics and

You will be working in all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology including general ANC, general gynaecology clinics, labour ward, assessment areas and theatres. This will be mostly at senior registrar level but you will also be covering some sessions at consultant level.You will be encouraged to consolidate and further develop skills in your area of special interest. ATSMs are available in the areas of fetal medicine, maternal medicine, labour ward, advanced antenatal practice, oncology, colposcopy, vulval disease, urogynaecology & vaginal surgery, benign abdominal surgery, & medical education. This needs prior discussion with the Head of Services, RCOG College Tutors and ATSM director of the region before registering with RCOG.On call duties will be at senior registrar level/Tier 3 (1 in 9).
There are 2 tiers of registrars out of hours. It is a requirement for this post that you participate in the out of hours resident rota.
