**7.30am - 4.00pm - Earlier finish on a Friday
**We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to join our client's team on a permanent basis.
- To have a good understanding of delivery distribution planning procedures.
- A good geographical knowledge of the UK's major town, cities and road network.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and confident at developing relationships with internal and external parties.
- Must be highly computer literate, with a standard knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to make key decisions to support the smooth day to day running within the transport planning team. A self-starting, proactive and hands-on individual who can offer proactive solutions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and able to meet tight deadlines and respond to urgent deliveries or issues that arise

**Duties**
- Planning of HGV Drivers from 7.5t to Class 1 Drivers
- Placing Drivers into different roles with different clients
- Building relationships with your Drivers and Clients
- Working towards financial targets
- Ensuring Driver compliance is perfect at 100%
- Working flexible times throughout the day
