Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a night transport supervisor to be based at our client in Marston Gate, Bedfordshire on a busy night operation.

As part of this busy transport operation you will ensure the timely and safe dispatch of drivers across Sunday to Thursday working between 22:00 pm and 07:00 am.

Organising routes and coordinating with a team of 40 drivers and vehicles.

Pay, benifits and more:

What you will do on a typical shift:

- Be responsible for the night running of the site transport operation
- Leading a team of drivers
- Ensuring drivers are briefed and depart in a timely manner
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers on a daily basis to resolve queries
- Be the single point of contact for all drivers whilst they are on the road
- Track logistic KPI metrics and report back to the contracts and logistics management team.

What you need to suceed in this role:

- Your own transport (due to the location of the role)
- Have exposure of working in a fast paced environment (no two days will be the same and you will need to be able to be reactive)
- Previous experience in supervising and developing a team within a complex transport environment
- Good admin experience and organisational skills (preferably in a transport environment)
