- **The position of a Clarke Transport Counterbalance Operator involves**:_
- _Loading and unloading of collection and delivery vehicles._
- _Unloading of night trunk vehicles for the network._
- _Reloading pallets onto delivery vehicles Lorries._
- _Assisting when required within the warehouse to include wrapping and labelling of pallets._
- _Keeping the yard clean and tidy_
- **Essential Skills required of Clarke Transport Counterbalance Forklift Driver**:_
- _Hold a current counterbalance forklift license._
- _Can do attitude._
- _Excellent time-keeping skills._
- _Accuracy and excellent organisational skills._
- _Confidence to communicate at all levels._
- _Ability to work under pressure._
- _Working to deadlines._
- _Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative._
- _Flexible approach to work._
- _Fantastic Health & Safety standards._
- _Logistics environment experience._
- _Excellent verbal and written English and Numeracy._
- _Ability to fill out necessary paperwork efficiently and correctly._

- _20 Days plus eight statutory holidays (28 days in total Pro Rota)_
- _Additional Holiday after four years’ service - Extra Day for every additional year’s service up to a maximum of 5 extra days (Pro-Rata)_

- _**Ongoing training, refreshing your FLT when needed and possible upskilling to Class 2 through our apprenticeship scheme after 6 months service**_

- Clarke Transport require all applicants to be eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions, as we are unable to offer sponsorship/work visas. You will be required to provide proof of Right to Work at interview stage._
