**Main purpose of job**:
To provide activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents.

**Responsible to**:
Line Manager

**Responsible for**:
All children

**Liaise with**:
All staff, children, parents/carers and any other external organisations as necessary.

**Main tasks of job**:
Provide creative and appropriate play opportunities

Prepare a variety of activities and organise the play programme in a safe and caring environment whilst also meeting the needs of the children

Ensure all children are treated as individuals

Assist in day to day administration, records keeping

Build positive relationships with parents/carers

Communicate effectively with all designated schools as an advocate for PREMIER EDUCATION and their values

Ensure play equipment is kept tidy, remains safe and is in good working order

Work within the equal opportunities policy

Oversee the safety of all children, monitor and supervise participants and administer first aid in the event of illness or injury as necessary

Warn children of unsafe activities and explain our rules, policies, regulations and procedures to children and enforce them when required

Evaluate venue conditions to identify any potential risks or hazards and take appropriate action

Provide refreshments as required being aware of food/safety/hygiene regulations as well as individual children’s requirement

Attend all relevant meetings

Ensure the health and safety within the play environment is maintained at all times

Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times following company policy and child protection guidelines

Undertake all necessary training

Responsibility to maintain a positive, supportive, safe and clean environment

Ensure information remains confidential as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
