We are an independent bakery specialising in Viennoiserie and we have recently opened our first shop, Lunko by the Lane, which has become increasingly busy over a very short period of time. **About the role**:
We are now on the lookout for a dynamic and hardworking Kitchen Porter/ Kitchen Assistant to join our talented production team in Speke.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure proper hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
- Clean kitchen surfaces and equipment.
- Wash dishes and utensils in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth operation during busy period.
- Follow health & safety and food hygiene guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Perform additional tasks if required and as assigned by managers.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Ability to organise workload in an efficient manner.

The role is part-time, around 16 hours per week, from Thursday to Sunday. Start times are from 9am, but the schedule is open for discussion and can be flexible.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £10.60 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 16 per week
