Key Responsibilities- Assist the controllers to provide a safe, expeditious and orderly flow of aircraft movements-
- Answering and processing telephone calls-
- Flight Progress Strip processing and completion of movements on the Copperchase system-
- Processing AFTN/AMHS messagesTaking bookings for circuit, Instrument training and other flights-
- Participating in operating the ATC Simulator-
- Alerting internal and external agencies in the event of an emergency and following ATC actions as detailed in the Airport Emergency Plan-
- Prepare and disseminate meteorological observations-
- General administrative tasks-
- Operate ATC Simulator (training will be given)-
- Admin duties to assist in the production of documents, procedures.-
- Participate in Safety Assessments**Requirements**:
- GCSE's/A Levels A-C Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office-
- Good communication skills.-
- UK driving license and good colour perception-
- Multitask and prioritise their work streams.-
