Job Description

Copello, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) to work with an aerospace business in Cambridge.

The selected candidate will provide safe and efficient air traffic services to aircraft operating under Instrument and Visual flight rules, ensuring a prompt flow of services.

  • Ensure safe air traffic services in accordance with CAP493, CAP774, CAP413, and MATS Part 2.
  • Operate equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Initiate fault reporting procedures to maintain accurate records.
  • Proactively identify hazards and suggest operational improvements to enhance ATS safety.
  • Report occurrences as necessary, with the expectation of a just culture investigation.
  • Monitor and report ATC equipment serviceability status.
  • Identify safety hazards, failures, or abnormal occurrences.

Applicants must have validated ATCO Class G Airspace experience, be an experienced OJTI, and hold a UK CAA Air Traffic Controllers license with ADI, APP, or APS rating.

Key requirements include a current UK CAA Medical Certificate, ATCO Level 6 English language proficiency, and the ability to work on-site full-time with occasional travel requirements.
